Giannina Berreby

PRESIDENT, CEO, CHAIRMAN, and CO-FOUNDER

Giannina Berreby brings over 35 years of experience in the field of Private Banking & Wealth Management, as well as in tax and succession planning. She graduated in business management with a specialization in economics from New York University and embarked on her career in 1988 with Crédit Lyonnais Panama. In 1990, she moved to Basel and worked for Crédit Lyonnais Basel, serving the Benelux clientele.

In 1992, she joined Coutts & Co Zurich as a wealth manager for the Latin American department. In 1997, she transferred to Coutts & Co Geneva as a Senior Client Relationship Manager with the title of Vice President, responsible for the Latin American, Spanish, and Portuguese desks.

By the end of 1999, she worked with Compagnie Bancaire Genève, now known as Société Générale Private Banking Suisse, as Vice President and Senior Manager, leading the Latin American desk. Finally, in 2001, she joined Geneva Asset Management Sàrl and co-founded Geneva Asset Management SA, now Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA. She significantly expanded the company and eventually became its CEO and Chairman of the Board. In this capacity, she heads the Executive Committee and, in addition to her activities as Asset Manager, coordinates the implementation of the Company's strategy and, more broadly, that of the Group.

Giannina Berreby is proficient in French, English, Spanish, Dutch, and German, and she also has a good command of Italian and Portuguese.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA since July 2023, and has worked closely with the Executive Board since 2020, assuming responsibility for human resources.

She has more than 18 years of experience in economic criminal law, focusing on banking and financial law. She began her career with a renowned professor as an assistant at the Geneva Law Faculty, where she had the opportunity to contribute to research aimed at drafting a new criminal law standard. She then undertook her legal traineeship.

After passing the bar exam, she worked closely with one of Switzerland's largest business law firms, handling complex litigation cases. She then joined the legal department of a Big Four company as a lawyer specialising in the fight against money laundering and as the point of reference for economic crime in French-speaking Switzerland.

She went on to work in the legal department of a local private bank before continuing her career as a lawyer by setting up her law firm.

Stéphane Maia

RISK MANAGER, LEGAL & COMPLIANCE

Holder of a law degree from the University of Lausanne and a master's degree in European law from the University of Bremen in Germany, Stéphane Maia specialized in international taxation.

Over the last two decades, he has worked with Swiss banks and major international fiduciary companies, where he has been responsible for LATAM, Russian, and African clients.

He joined Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA in 2019 as Head of Legal and Compliance. In 2022, his responsibilities were extended to include Risk management. In this capacity, he was appointed Risk Officer and joined the Executive Committee.

Stéphane Maia is fluent in French, Russian, German, English, and Portuguese, and has a good command of Spanish and Italian.

José Fernandez

ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

With a background in technical and commercial education, José Fernandez has worked in the banking sector for 30 years.

Starting at UBS when it was computerising its activities, he left shortly after the UBS/SBS merger at the end of the 1990s to join CIAL Bank in Geneva as an asset manager for Latin American clients.

In 2006, he completed his period as an asset manager at Mirabaud & Cie, looking after Portuguese and South American clients.

He left the banking sector to set up his consultancy firm, specialising in management procedures and methods.

Within Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA, he oversees account control and accounting matters.

José Fernandez speaks Spanish, French and English and has a solid grounding in Portuguese.

Victoria Perez Borloz

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Victoria Perez Borloz holds a degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Geneva, as well as the Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) certification. She joined the company in 2023.

With a successful experience spanning over 25 years in the field of private banking, she began her journey in 1996 with Citibank Geneva. In 2000, she joined Deutsche Bank Geneva as a Relationship Manager for the Latin American department. Finally, in 2006, she joined Banque Heritage as a Senior Relationship Manager, where she spent nearly 17 years, catering to European, Swiss, and Latin American clientele.

In August 2023, she joined Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA as a Client Relationship Manager.

She speaks French, Spanish, English and Portuguese and has a good knowledge of Italian.

Laurent Charles Biousse

JUNIOR FINANCIAL ADVISOR & RESEARCH

Laurent Charles Biousse joined the company on 1st July 2022.

Having graduated with a degree in business administration from a prestigious English and Swiss university, he founded his own marketing-focused company before joining Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA.

Previously, he was involved with a significant Geneva-based company as a board member.

Within Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA, he supports the Management in the company's development and is part of the Investment and Research department.

Laurent Charles Biousse speaks French, English and Spanish. He has excellent knowledge of German and Italian.

Jéssica Alves

ADMINISTRATIVE & MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

Jéssica Alves started out in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. In 2013, she became a Junior Management Assistant at Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA before leaving the company in 2017 for personal reasons. In July 2019, she returned to the company as an Administrative & Management Assistant.

She speaks Portuguese and French, as well as having a good grasp of English and Spanish.

Shahrzad Ghorban

GALLERIE MANAGER & ADMINISTRATIVE AND EVENT COORDINATOR

Shahrzad Ghorban is an experienced art consultant with an extensive tenure spanning over a decade within the art industry.

She earned her Masters Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education in London. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art History and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Toronto.

Having dedicated the last nine years to her role as a senior Art Consultant and Project Manager at JR Art International Ltd, London, Shahrzad has curated and procured bespoke art collections catering to the discerning tastes of luxury hospitality, residential, and corporate clientele on a global scale.

She has brought her expertise to Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA and Galerie Renaissance, joining the team in August 2023.

Shahrzad speaks English, French, and Farsi (Persian) and has a basic knowledge of Arabic.
