Giannina Berreby
President, CEO, Chairman and Founder of the group
Giannina Berreby brings over 35 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, specializing in tax and estate planning, as well as acquisition, development, and investment consultancy. She earned her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics from New York University. She began her career in 1988 at Credit Lyonnais Panama, before relocating to Basel in 1991 to serve Benelux clients at Credit Lyonnais Basel.
In 1992, she joined Coutts & Co Ltd in Zurich as a Client Relationship Manager for the Latin America Team. By 1997, she was promoted to Senior Client Relationship Manager and appointed Head of the Latin America, Spain, and Portugal desk at Coutts & Co Ltd Geneva.
In 1999, she transitioned to Compagnie Bancaire Genève (now Société Générale Private Banking Suisse) as Vice-President and Senior Client Relationship Manager for Latin American clients.
In 2001, she co-founded Geneva Asset Management SA (now Geneva Asset & Wealth Management SA), significantly developing the company and taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer and President of the Board. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, German, and Dutch, she also possesses a strong grasp of Italian and Portuguese.
